Crestmore Manor has and will always have a very special place in my heart. It’s where I married my high school sweetheart back in 2011.  It’s such a happy place for me and as funny as it sounds, anytime I’m back at Crestmore photographing a wedding, it feels a little like home.  Matt + Jenn selected Crestmore Manor as their wedding venue and I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their beautiful wedding.  I’ve known them for awhile as Jenn is best friends with my sister-in-law.  We see each other at family get togethers, bridal showers, baby showers, etc. and I just love the two of them and their fun personalities!

The Beginning

Matt and Jenn first met on a blind date back in the summer of 2008.  See guys?  Blind dates DO work!  They took a chance and it was the best decision either of them could have made.  They dated for quite a few years before Matt popped the question in 2013 in San Francisco.  By the time they got engaged, I’m pretty sure Jenn had the whole wedding planned already (haha).  I know how excited she was to get married to Matt and I know how much she and Matt looked forward to this big day where the two of them would become husband and wife.

The Wedding

They got ready at the gorgeous Mission Inn which is located in downtown Riverside and not too far from Crestmore Manor where the wedding was held.  My second photographer Benny and I started with some detail shots of the dress, shoes, the bridal party getting ready, etc.  Matt bought Jenn such a sweet gift that brought tears to her eyes when she opened it.  It was a gorgeous emerald ring that was inside of Cinderella’s carriage.  For all you Disney lovers out there, how perfect is that?!  Before we knew it, it was time for Matt to get into his tux and Jenn to get into her dress and head to the venue.

Their ceremony was super sweet and seeing Matt’s face light up when he saw Jenn walking towards him is something I’ll never forget.  Watching the grooms reaction is one of my all time favorite parts of the wedding day.  The manor was off to the side of them and they got married underneath the beautiful trees with the pond directly in front of them.  With it being October it was still a little warm that day but by the time the ceremony started around 4:30, it was perfect and the lighting was incredible.  The reception was a huge party filled with drinks, a cigar bar and lots of good Argentinian food!  Jenn’s family is from Argentina and let me tell you, they know how to party!  The dance floor was packed and everyone had such a fun time!  Congratulations again Matt & Jenn, we love you guys!
