I am based in the Southern California area, specifically the Inland Empire, but I love traveling for weddings and have my passport all ready to go!
I am a Canon girl. I shoot with two Canon 5D Mark III camera bodies and a variety of Canon L series lenses.
As a bride a few years back, I know how important it was for me to have certain pictures that I knew wouldn’t have gotten captured by just one photographer. As photographers we’re pretty awesome and can do a lot but being in two places at once is impossible for us. I always value having a second photographer there with me on your wedding day because it allows us to capture more of your day. It also allows us to capture different angles such as the bride walking down the aisle and the grooms reaction as he first sees her. So instead of trying to convince potential clients to include a second photographer in their wedding collection, I’ve already included one in all of my wedding collections.
Yes and yes. My style is defined by working with natural light. I try to use and soak up as much of the sunlight as I possibly can in all of my images. However, I understand that there are times such as during the reception or locations such as churches that there may be a lack of natural light or no sunlight at all. In those cases, I do have professional flash equipment that myself and my second photographer use.
I would describe my work as warm, natural, happy and romantic. I tend to photograph with a pretty photojournalistic style. Meaning that I capture how the session or the wedding day unfolds. Yes, I will step in and guide you through certain parts of it and help get those formal photos but those real interactions and those real emotions are what I strive to capture and those are the moments when there is no "posing" on my part.
Oh definitely! I love consultations because it gives me a chance to sit down with you and/or fiancé and get to know the two of you! I believe that having a strong connection with your wedding photographer is super important. So lets grab some coffee and chat about the two of you and your wedding day!
Absolutely! I’ve done Skype, FaceTime and phone consultations and they all are great options if distance or time is an issue.
I require a signed contract in addition to a 25% non-refundable retainer. The non-refundable retainer will go towards the total cost of your Collection.
Luckily we live in Southern California where the beach is an hour in one direction and the mountains are an hour in the other direction. The possibilities are endless but it really depends on the two of you as a couple. If you both enjoy city life then we’ll find a fun spot in the city. If you both are beach babes, then we’ll head to one of our gorgeous beaches. It’s important for me to capture who you are as a couple so finding a location that’s meaningful to you really makes for an awesome engagement session.
