Hogwarts! Just kidding...sort of... my maiden name is Potter so part of me thinks it's only fair that I get to take up partial residence there ;)
I am based in Chino Hills and serve the Southern California area. I have done weddings in different locations such as Cabo, Washington, Arizona and other parts of the country. I love getting to travel and photograph beautiful people all over! My passport is up to date and ready to go!
I am a Canon girl (woot woot!). I shoot with two Canon 5D Mark III camera bodies and a variety of Canon L series lenses.
As photographers we’re pretty awesome and can do a lot but being in two places at once is impossible for us. There have been many times where I'm busy doing the family photos and can't rush over to get the reception details so that's where my second photographer will come in. I always value having a second photographer there with me on your wedding day because it allows us to capture more of your day and from different angles such as the bride walking down the aisle and the grooms reaction as he first sees her.
Yes and yes. My style is defined by working with natural light. I try to use and soak up as much of the sunlight as I possibly can in all of my images. I wish I could carry the sunlight in my pocket and bust it out when I need it.
However, I understand that there are times such as during the reception or locations such as churches that there may be a lack of natural light or no sunlight at all. In those cases, I do have professional flash equipment that myself and my second photographer use.
I would describe my work as warm, natural, happy and romantic. I tend to photograph with a pretty photojournalistic style. Meaning that I capture how the session or the wedding day unfolds. Yes, I will step in and guide you through certain parts of it and help get those formal photos but those real interactions and those real emotions are what I strive to capture and those are the moments when there is no "posing" on my part.
Heck yes! I love consultations because it gives me a chance to sit down with you and/or fiancé and get to know the two of you! I believe that having a strong connection with your wedding photographer is super important. So lets grab some coffee or tea and chat about the two of you and your wedding day!
Absolutely! I’ve done Skype, FaceTime and phone consultations and they all are great options if distance or time is an issue. So lets just chill in our pajamas and talk via video or phone chat!
I require a signed contract in addition to a 25% non-refundable retainer. The non-refundable retainer will go towards the total cost of your Collection.
Luckily we live in Southern California and we are spoiled! The beach is an hour in one direction and the mountains are an hour in the other direction and the desert is close by too. The possibilities are endless but it really depends on the two of you as a couple. If you both enjoy city life then we’ll find a fun spot in the city. If you both are beach babes, then we’ll head to one of our gorgeous beaches and play around in the sand. It’s important for me to capture who you are as a couple so finding a location that’s meaningful to you really makes for an awesome engagement session.
Oh gosh, ME TOO!! Literally anytime I get in front of the camera I freeze. I can totally direct and guide other people but when I see a camera pointed at me I get the deer in the headlights look and immediately think "what do I do with my hands?!?!" Don't worry one bit! I got you! You don't even know how many couples tell me how awkward they are in front of the camera and then they totally rock their engagement sessions and wedding photos! Everyone has a model inside of them and it's my job to get your inner model to come out and shine! We'll play games, interact and have fun so that you don't feel like anything is forced or super awkward. I'm all about natural photos that capture personality, emotion and of course loveeeeee.
