Grant + Ashley’s Elegant Backyard Wedding in Lake Elsinore, CA
I’ve always looooooved backyard weddings because they’re SO much fun! But my love for them skyrocketed after this one! Before I get too deep into this, I need to do a huge shoutout to Grant’s parents, Joe and Janelle for transforming their incredible backyard to make all of Grant & Ashley’s wedding dreams come true. It was amazing and my jaw literally hit the floor when I saw all of the detail and love that went into making this day so special.
Grant and Ashley have known each other for quite a few years and dated off and on but it was just never the right timing. I totally believe in the right timing for everything and after reconnecting later in life they decided to give it another go. In August of 2017, Grant knew it was time to ask Ashley to marry him. They had taken a trip to the East Coast a few weeks prior and she thought he was going to propose while on their trip. That didn’t happen but Grant had something more special planned. He knew Ashley loved the OC Fair so that’s where he wanted to pop the question. They got onto the Ferris Wheel and while enjoying the sights of the fair, Grant asked Ashley if she would be his wife! Obviously she said yes because we’re here and I’m blogging about their wedding! He surprised her having their parents show up and they enjoyed the rest of the evening celebrating at the fair with them.
I have so many favorite parts about this wedding…the gorgeous details, the tears each of them shed during the vows and of course Grant’s fist bump with Ashley’s dad as he gave away his daughter. But my most favorite thing about this wedding was all of the love. You guysssss, everywhere you looked you could see how much love was there between Ashley and Grant, their families, their wedding party and their guests. It was such a special wedding for me to be a part of and I truly am so thankful I got to celebrate this day with them!
