Mountain Engagement Session - Mt. Baldy in Upland, CA

I have known Cory and Jackie for quite awhile. My Aunt has worked for Cory’s mom for many many years so I’ve seen them at family functions, birthday parties, 4th of July’s, etc. So when they got engaged and came to me wanting information regarding wedding photography, I was really excited! It’s fun to photograph couples who I’ve known for awhile because instead of working to build a relationship, it’s already been established for some time. When we started to discuss where they wanted to do their engagement session, I of course suggested the mountains since I love photographing up there. Jackie fell in love with the idea so that was where we headed for this beautiful Mountain Engagement Session. They are going with a rustic winter look for their March 2015 wedding and wanted to tie that into their engagement session so what better place than the mountains where we are surrounded by trees, nature and an awesome sunset. It was cold and extremely windy but they braved the crazy weather with me and we had such a fun time! I even got to play around a bit while we were waiting for the sun to set more and got some cool double exposure shots of them and the sky.  I know their wedding is going to be absolutely beautiful and a blast and I’m very much looking forward to it! Only 3 more weeks guys, can’t believe how quickly that went! Eeek! =)
