Here we are in the last half of February and I’m just now getting around to sharing some of my fall family sessions. Better late than never, I guess? 🤣

We got rained out at our first attempt at their session and the weather wasn’t necessarily in our favor on the day we rescheduled for either but through the gloomy weather and light drizzle, they embraced it and we made it happen! These are just a few of the beautiful moments we captured of their beautiful family.

A few sun kissed sneak peeks for these two.☀️

Eric & Melissa’s wedding day could not have possibly gone any better. It was beautiful and the weather was a surprise to us all! When you think of August, especially the end of August, you expect hot weather while sweating profusely 🤣 but it was in the low 80’s that day and there was a nice breeze during their ceremony. Such a fun day and I loved getting to celebrate with them and all their family and friends!

When I look at my Instagram feed, I’m either surrounded by trees or at the beach 😂 I mean I’m definitely not complaining! We have such a great variety in Southern California and are for sure spoiled with our locations.

Alex was trying to find the perfect location for his proposal to Rebecca and I think he succeeded. It was absolutely beautiful and there was so much greenery and flowers in bloom. You just never know what’s going to be green and in bloom in the summer and we lucked out!

I mean, WOW, right? 😍

That much anticipated moment when the bride or groom walks down the aisle to marry the love of their life. It’s such an emotion filled moment and getting to see their reactions never gets old. It’s also such a sweet moment between them and whoever walks them down the aisle whether it’s a parent, a sibling, a friend, etc. I love getting to see who they have chosen to join them on that special walk down the aisle.

Can I let you in on a secret?

……99.9999999% of people I photograph tell me beforehand they are awkward in front of the camera, don’t know how to “pose”, etc.

The same was the case for Eric & Melissa but you would never know by looking at these. 🔥

I never put someone in front of my camera and expect them to just know what to do. I really try to make my sessions enjoyable and guide you through them so you can have fun, focus on your time together and have a memorable experience while we document these moments in your life.

I had such a fun time with Eric and Melissa at their engagement session and am so excited to spend the day with these two at their wedding next week!
