Thank you to all the birds that have flown through my shots and have really added to that Southern California beach vibe! If you can’t tell I get super excited when that happens! 🤣

Since having my babies, maternity sessions are something I am obsessed with photographing! They are so much fun and not only is it a celebration of a sweet little baby on the way but it’s really a celebration of becoming a Mother. Motherhood changes us and yes, it’s not always easy, but it’s so worth it. The transformation that happens to us not only physically but emotionally, spiritually, mentally is such a magical thing and I’m honored to be a part of photographing that precious time for so many beautiful parents-to-be.

Last year I photographed a lot of couples Babymooning in Orange County. I don’t know if babymooning in OC is a new trend but I am all here for it! Bring me all the cute couples and beautiful baby bumps!

If you are expecting and have a baby on the way, I would love to photograph your maternity session! Best time for maternity sessions are around the 30-35 week mark. My dates for spring/summer are starting to get booked up so reach out soon and we can start planning!

I hope my Disneyland pass doesn’t get revoked after sharing this embarrassment! It looks more Five Night’s at Freddy’s than our beloved Mickey 🤣🤣 But true story, my 4 year old wanted me to draw with him and we decided to use his Mickey Mouse hat as a reference. After I showed him my lovely work of art he said, “Aww Mommy, that’s so cute!!” Why are kids the absolute best cheerleaders and hype people?! Bless his sweet heart!

Just one. I rarely ever post just one photo because I love being able to tell a story with multiple photos. However, this is one of my favorite reception photos for many reasons. First, it’s completely candid and natural and those are honestly some of the best photos on the wedding day. Second, Alyssa & Gunner just look so cute up at their sweetheart table together with the beautiful florals and buildings of downtown San Diego behind them. And lastly, it was during Alyssa’s Dad’s speech. Her Dad has got jokes so it was such a great moment to grab because I knew the couple would feel something from this photo and be able to remember that special moment of laughter.

Getting to photograph everything a wedding day holds with the sweetest couples and all their family and friends who are there to celebrate them is really an honor. These moments on your day are only lived once but through photography we’re able to take all of the smiles, laughs, tears, glances, hugs and allow you to look back many years from now and be in those moments again. Photos have a special way of making us feel and allowing us to connect to the people and moments that we hold closest to us. All of this to say..enjoy your wedding day! Be present, take a deep breath, focus on what matters most to you and spend time with the people you love.

I photograph at the beach about 90% of the time. I

I photograph at the beach about 90% of the time. I totally get it though. The warm glowing sunlight, the soft sand on your toes, the sounds and ambiance of the water and waves around you..it’s cozy and comfortable and a beautiful place to make memories with your family and loved ones.

This particular family was visiting Southern California and wanted to photograph in Laguna Beach since that’s where they had gotten engaged. It was a full circle moment being back at such a special place now with their adorable 1 year old baby boy.

I have to say though in all my years photographing at the beach, specifically Laguna Beach, I have NEVER experienced a marine layer roll in this fast! We had clear skies and warm sunlight at the start of the session and about 20 minutes into it we got that thick marine layer that rolled in within like 1 minute. Mother nature is beautiful but always unpredictable! We still had a great time and they were such good sports about it. The fog just made those cuddly and quiet moments even more magical.
