Andrew + Irene // Joshua Tree Engagement Session
Andrew & Irene decided on having a Joshua Tree Engagement Session and they couldn’t have picked a more perfect place! I’ve photographed at Joshua Tree a few times and each time I go I fall in love with it more and more. Andrew had worked in the area for awhile and was very familiar the park and surrounding areas so they thought it would be a great place for their session. We started their session at a gorgeous cactus field. Now when you hear cactus field, beauty isn’t necessarily the first thing that comes to mind. But the field is beautiful! The cacti looks so soft and cuddly but trust me, they aren’t! I can’t even remember how many times I got cactus stuck to my shoes while walking around. Once we left the field, we then headed to another popular spot inside of Joshua Tree called Arch Rock. After a quick outfit change in the car, we photographed at a few different spots before reaching and finishing the session up at Arch Rock. Joshua Tree is a photographers playground and the amount of photo locations are endless.
I really had a great time exploring Joshua Tree and getting to capture this exciting time in Andrew and Irene’s lives. They are such a fun loving couple and you can really see their chemistry and how they bring out the goofy side in one another. They are planning a fall wedding in Lake Tahoe, CA and although I won’t be there to photograph their wedding day, I know it’s going to be absolutely perfect.
