I got to know Nick and Kristen pretty well throughout their time wedding planning and I was SO excited for their wedding day because it was like seeing two of my friends getting married. These two may look familiar because not only do I have their wedding photos plastered all over my website, the knot listing and social media but they were also the couple who did the epic engagement session at Dodger Stadium! Nick and Kristen met through mutual friends at Disneyland. They’re both huge Disneyland lovers, love Star Wars and of course the Dodgers! When I asked them about their proposal, this is what Kirsten said, “He proposed on October 30, 2016 where we first met: Disneyland! He made an appointment for us to do a caricature at the Paradise Pier in California Adventure. I thought we were just getting a portrait of ourselves as Han Solo & Princess Leia, but when I saw the finished product, the Han Solo in the picture was on one knee and it read “Kristen, will you marry me?” Our family members appeared out of nowhere, he pulled out a ring, and I said yes!” How cute is it that Nick proposed at the same place they met?! SOOO cute!
Kristen worked at this hotel where they got married and because of that, we got the total VIP treatment and got to do their bride and groom photos at the top of the building on the helipad!! It’s something I’ve never done before and oh my gosh it was PERFECT! The weather was amazing that day and we had some LA haze (or smog/pollution, whatever you want to call it..lol) which made for the most dreamy, sun kissed photos! Their wedding will forever go down as one of my favorites because everything about this day was so so special. From the first look Kristen did with her dad, to the emotion Nick had while he was watching Kristen walk down the aisle towards him, it was a day that everyone from their guests to their vendors will remember forever! Love you guys and Go Dodgers!!
