Laguna Beach is one of the most sought-after locations for maternity photography in Southern California and it’s easy to see why. The soft sand, gentle waves, and stunning ocean views create a peaceful and romantic setting that feels both elevated and natural.

A Romantic Babymoon Maternity Session

This session was extra special because this couple was visiting Laguna Beach on their babymoon. They chose to slow down and be present with each other during these final weeks before their family of 2 became a family of 3. We kept this session simple and organic, allowing the connection between them to take center stage. Barefoot in the sand, with the sound of the ocean in the background, everything felt relaxed and meaningful. Although I love the sunlight and golden hour is my favorite time of day to photograph, overcast days in Laguna Beach can actually be beautiful too. The clouds act like a natural diffuser, softening the light and creating a more intimate atmosphere.
