It’s so special welcoming a new baby home. Those first few weeks pass by so quickly and that is exactly why I love photographing lifestyle newborn sessions. And to be honest, who wants to drive or sit in our lovely Southern California traffic with a newborn…I don’t think anyone!
The Mom and Dad in this lifestyle newborn session may look familiar as they were one of my past bride’s and groom’s. Being a family photographer is incredible because I get to photograph some of my past couples as they become parents and get to photograph them every year as their kids get older and as their family grows.

One of the biggest advantages of an in home newborn session is that your baby stays comfortable in a familiar environment. And it’s a win for the parents because there is no need to pack up diapers, bottles, extra changes of clothes. During this session, we spent time documenting sweet cuddles in the nursery, quiet moments with mom and dad in the living room and plenty of love from the furry big sis who was of course baby number one.
