Charles + Jessica – Laguna Beach Engagement Session

Jessica and I go back to our high school days! Crazy to think how long ago that was because sometimes it feels like we just graduated yesterday. Shortly after getting engaged, Jessica reached out to me about photographing her and Charles’ engagement session and wedding day! We got together at Corner Bakery and discussed all the exciting details that they were envisioning for their wedding. It’s always a huge honor when a friend gets engaged and immediately reaches out to me to inquire about wedding photography. I have such a personal connection with my work and it’s nice to know that others can see the love and passion I put into my photography and my business.

Jessica has worked in the fashion industry and I knew that her outfits and the outfit Charles wore were going to be on point. And of course, they looked incredible! They’re a stunning couple to begin with so I had no doubt that these engagement photos were going to look amazing thanks to them. We decided on doing their engagement session in Laguna Beach so that we could have some variety in their photos with a mix of city and a mix of beach. We started out in downtown Laguna Beach and walked to some of my favorite little spots. There are a few super cute alleyways that make for great photos and give us a little bit of that cool urban vibe. Then we headed down to the beach where we finished off their session on the sand and in the water. Being around them, it’s so apparent that these two have such a deep connection and love for one another. Whether it’s playing around in the water or sharing a romantic kiss on the sand, you can tell that Jessica and Charles are meant for one another. We had such a great time and I can’t wait for their wedding later this year at Serendipity Gardens in Yucaipa, CA.
