Serendipity Gardens Wedding – Charles & Jessica
Charles & Jessica had a beautiful Serendipity Gardens Wedding which is located in the Oak Glen/Yucaipa area. Though it was a very warm August day, it was such a beautiful wedding with gorgeous views of the surrounding hills. If you haven’t visited Oak Glen before, it’s a must! It’s definitely more popular in the fall because the fall colors are breathtaking, the weather is much cooler and you can even do apple picking on the farms. It’s such a cute area and also has a few different wedding venues, including Serendipity Gardens. This specific venue is amazing and the staff is wonderful to work with.
I’ve known Jessica since high school and it’s always so much fun to see a high school friend get married. I had so much fun with the two of them during their Laguna Beach engagement session and I knew their wedding day was going to be just as fun. We started off photographing Charles and Jessica separately since they weren’t going to be doing a first look. Serendipity Gardens has a very pretty bridal suite which is where Jessica got ready and then Charles got ready in the rustic yet elegant barn that they also have on the property. Once everyone was dressed and the guests arrived, these two said their I’ Do’s’ surrounded by their family, friends and these beautiful views. Jessica’s son, Matias, was the star of the show in so many of the photos. He is such a sweetheart and his smile melts my heart! We made sure to do some photos of Jessica and Matias together as well as Charles and Matias since they just love and adore each other.
I loved the wedding decor because it had a personal meaning to the couple. Charles proposed to Jessica in Paris and and so they included the Eiffel Tower in a lot of their wedding decor. One of my favorite pieces of decor were the Eiffel Tower place holders for the seating chart. I had to steal one and use it for wedding ring photos because the colors just worked so well together. We did a few bride and groom photos shortly after the ceremony but then took them out during sunset to do more and I’m so glad we did! The sunset that evening was warm, golden and made for the perfect photos. I was so happy to be a part of their big day and witness them because husband and wife. Congratulations again Charles & Jess!
