Lake Isabella Engagement Session in Kern County, CA
When I first received Debbie’s wedding inquiry, I knew that her and Pete were going to be such a wonderful couple to work with. She expressed that they have been down the road of marriage before and wanted their wedding to be a fun, family oriented event. They were so happy to have found each other and that was so apparent from the moment I first “met” Debbie during our Skype consultation. We talked about how they met at work, their two fur babies and of course all of the amazing details that Debbie had put together so far for their wedding. We discussed their engagement session and since I had never been up to the Lake Isabella area, we decided to do a Lake Isabella engagement session so that I could get familiar with the area before their wedding day. We scheduled their session and after a 3 hour drive from the Inland Empire, I was up in the beautiful rural area that is known as Lake Isabella/Kernville. Debbie was so helpful and scoped out a few places for us to shoot at ahead of time since I’m not from that area. It even started raining (out of nowhere!) and we got some neat photos of them with the rain falling behind them. Luckily it only lasted about 15 minutes and then we were able to finish photographing their engagement session. We had such a great time and I absolutely love these two! Pete is quite the character and had me and Debbie cracking up the whole time. They are such sweet, loving, genuine people and I’m so happy to have met them and I’m so excited to photograph their beautiful wedding day!
