Whittier Engagement Session - Uptown Whittier - Whittier, CA

I had so much fun hanging out and laughing with Daniel and Stephanie during this Whittier Engagement Session.  These two met 10 years ago and made it through college and a military deployment and recently got engaged surrounded by their closest friends on New Years Eve.

When Stephanie first emailed me about their engagement session, she told me that her fiancé Daniel had one request and that was to include their four dogs in part of their engagement session.  Of course with me being a huge animal lover I was happy to have their furry family members as a part of their session!  After a few emails back and forth we decided that Whittier was the place for their engagement session.  I always tell couples that their engagement session should take place somewhere meaningful to the two of them.  Whether it’s the beach, the mountains, Disneyland, etc.  And Whittier was home for both Daniel and Stephanie and they felt it would be the perfect place to capture this moment in their lives.  We started with just the two of them in the historic district of Whittier and I absolutely fell in love with the area.  It has an old charm feel to it with the brick walls and cute little shops.  We then headed over to a local nature park where we met up with their two Basset Hounds and two English Bulldogs.  They are such a cute bunch and looked absolutely adorable in their bow ties and team bride scarves.

Daniel and Stephanie are such a sweet couple and they have fun and laugh together which is so important in a relationship and a marriage.  They are planning a destination wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico in March and I know it’s going to be absolutely beautiful!
